    Do or did?

    Is this sentence correct?
Anne loved her mother and so do we.

I mean to say that Anne is dead now but her mum is alive and we love her mum now. or should I say Anne loved her mother and so did we?

    Re: Do or did?

Your first suggestion is correct. The late Anne loved her mother; we love her stll. Anne loved her, and we do too. You might also say, "Anne loved her mother, as do we." No real advantage to this, but it's simply another way to say it.
