    "words"

I am new to this site; I was searching for a website that would aid me in knowing the appropriate use of certain words. 'paramount' is the word presently at hand. I understand that statements such as "secrecy is paramount" would be correct usage of the word, but would it be correct to perhaps say "paramount practices" or "paramount needs", or things of this sort.

"Paramount needs" is actually the example sentence in this dictionary

    1. Of chief concern or importance

tending first to one's paramount needs.

I'm not sure it's a good fit with "practices."
