    perfect tences

    Hello,

Is it possible to perceive the perfect tenses the following way?

    I have something.

    I have
    a car. (I have a thing = a car)
    I have done my work. (I have a progress / a situation / a state = my work done)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
Word order - is there any difference between I have done my work. / I have my work done. ? Are both sentences correct?

    Thank you very much,
    T.

    Re: perfect tences

    Hello Tapies

I can answer your second question:

    1. I have done my homework. <I did the work>
    2. I have my homework done (for me). <someone does the work for me>

I have my homework done. This can also mean I did it, and I have it here.
