    correct sentence

    Which of the following two sentences is correct?
    a) "load the gifts onto the car"
    b) "load the gifts into the car"

    They could both be correct, a) could be correct if you are putting the gifts on the car, on a roof rack for example. Otherwise, if you are putting the gifts in the car, on the seat or in the boot (trunk), use b).
