    grammar problem

    sir, i am very confused with the following sentence please help me.
    'walled frontiers between the kingdoms in china date from at least the 4th century B.C.' in this sentence,which is subject and which is object and which is verb.

    Are you sure this sentence is correct and it is "date from" ...in china date from at least the 4th century B.C.......???

    the simple subject is: frontiers
    the complete subject is: 'walled frontiers between the kingdoms in china'

    the verb is: date (intransitive) --> no object
