    Live at/on/in

    Hi teachers,

    I've heard native speakers say

    1. I live at 123 Grand Ave
    2. I live in Grand Ave
    3. I live on Grand

    which is the correct preposition?

    live in/at, etc. to have your home somewhere:
    We live in London.
    Some students live on the University campus.
    Both her children still live at home.
    (from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)


    Adresses

    Generally we use "at" >> She lives at 73 Albert Street

    We use "in" (US "on) if we just give the name of the street.>> She lives in/on (US) Albert Street.

    We use "on" for the number of the floor >> She lives in a flat on the second floor.
