    Question help with past participle

    Hi i'm writting about a painting but I fon't know how should I describe the picutre.

    Should I do it like this? "on one hand, cherubim are adoring Baby Jesus and The holy Mary" or how?

    Wouldn't that be a bit difficult for someone who hasn't seen the picture?
    "On one side ..." maybe (if that's what it shows). "On the right side ..."
    I'd write "baby Jesus" and "the Virgin Mary".
