    teaching vocab.

    Please tell me how to teach vocabulary to Arabic speaking children ?

    There are many good way to convey the meaning of the words without translating words into the students' mother tongue:

    1- Bring real objects -realia- to classroom. Things like pens, pencils, cards, toys usually draw the students' attention.

    2. Use pictures. Pictures are very effective in the process of teaching vocabulary especially for kids.

    3. Dramatize words (mime) especially action verbs plays an important role in making your class highly energetic.

    4. Always remember the CONTEXT
