    Are both of these sentences correct?

    The focus lies on those aspects that bear most relevance to the question of the extent to which EC law applies to sport.

    The focus lies on those aspects that bear most relevance to the question of to what extent EC law applies to sport.

    The first sentence sounds better to me.

    They are both correct, but I prefer the first as well.
