    Smile public sale

    Dear friends...

    How are you?

Could you tell me the name of the event (public sale) where people buy goods or property by offering the highest amount of money?

    Thank you.

    Re: public sale

    Hi -
I think you might mean an auction.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
