    It's no use...

    Hello!

It's no use + ing and It's no good + ing have the same meaning or there're situations where I should choose between them?

I would like to have done something = I wish I had done something?

    Thank you!

this is how I use them which may or may not be correct.
It's no good staying late at night - it ruins your health.
    (generally)
It's no use staying late at night - you won't remember much in the morning.
(no use for some purpose for example an exam).
    :)

It's also common to say "There's no use...", but generally not "There's no good"
    There's/It's no use ... (There's no purpose)
It's no good ... (There's no benefit to be gained)

There's no use trying to get pigs to fly.
It's no use me studying; I'm going to fail anyway.
It's no good me studying; I just don't understand it.

It's hard to give a rule about which version is best. Quite often, either will do.
