    Proper use of soonest

Is it proper to use the word soonest as follows?

    "Please contact her soonest".

    Thanks,
    Sheila

    Not where I come from.
Do you mean "Please contact her as soon as possible (ASAP)"?
Or "Please contact her sooner than him"?
Or "Please contact her sooner than he does"?
    Or "Please contact her first"?

    Re: Proper use of soonest

It is a fairly common contraction for " at the soonest convenient moment to yourself".

Thank you for the back up of what I was thinking. Someone I know was trying to use the word as I posted and I did not think it was correct!
