    Question Check this please...

    Hi there,
    Could anyone possibly tell me what the problem is with this sentence?

    "In Asia English has the most fans for being learnt."

    It is really bad. Do you mean this?

    English as a second language is most popular in Asia.

    Thanks to you both...I could think of the right form on my own, but I didn't know what's wrong exactly...I mean WHY things are gone so awful in this sentence...thanks again...any further idea please?

    It's hard to think of how to make it better and more simple than bhaisahab's revision.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
