If there are more than one table ...

If there are more than one tables ...
If there are more than one table ...

The second is correct, isn't it?

Re: If there are more than one table ...

Neither are correct. It is a singular noun, one table. The answer to your question is "if there is more than one table..........." or "if there are more than 2(++) tables .................
    hope this helps.

    Neither is correct.

... there are more than one tables, ...
... there are more than one table, ...

    Try,

... there are more than two tables, ...
... thereis more than one table, ...

With expletive constructions--clauses that begin with there is/there are--the verb agrees in number with the closest noun or pronoun. For example:

    • There is a pen and 2 books on the table.
    • There are 2 books and a pen on the table.

Looking now at your sentences, Elemoi, the subject closest or most proximate to the expletives there are is the singular noun phrase one table, which means the verb should be singular:

    • There is more than one table.

You can make the verb plural, of course, but you'll have to make the subject plural also:

    • There are more than two tables.

I hope that helps out some.
