    Hello brothers and sisters.
    i wish that you are doing well.

    Which one of the following would oyu choose to write if you want to talk about someone you saw crying/shedding tears/weeping/ over something dear to him/her

    1) And Jesus wept.

    2) Jesus burst into tears.

    3) Jesus cried.

    4) Jesus wept.

    5) And Jesus himself was weeping.

    please dont forget to justify your choice.

    Just to confirm - the person's name is "Jesus" right? You're not trying to make a parallel to historic figure of 2000 or so years ago?

    I'd say "Jesus was crying."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
