    Using- None- in the sentence

    Please Help! Can I use this sentence and is it correct?

    "She was none the sleepier after having worked all day."

    Yes, you can use it, but I would change "after" to "for.

    I found out that the sentence - We never used to advertise on TV, but we don't any more. is not correct. We never used to advertise on TV, but we do now. -now is this correct really?

    Yes, either: We never used to advertise on TV, but we do now. or We used to advertise on TV, but we don't now. Although, I prefer "We didn't use to advertise..." to "We never used to advertise..."

    I've got a few questions:
    a) Is none a determiner here or a pronoun?
    b) Is the sleepier a noun or a strange combination of the article and adjective?
    c)What does it mean exactly? (Is she sleepy?; To what degree sleepy? Sleepy at all? or not sleepy at all?)
