    How can I say?

    Dear Friends,

Suppose I am giving a lecture and I mispronounce a tongue-twisting name. I want to be ironic and want to say that I hope I will mispronounce this name in the next week's lecture, too. What ironic statement could I say which includes the noun 'tongue'?

I hope my tongue will ... this name next time, too. (?)

    Thank you.

I hope I will come a cropper over this name again next time.

    You are awesome, Kondorosi.

Anyway, aren't you of Hungarian origin? 'Kondorosi' is a common surname in Hungarian.

    Thanks again.

What does "come a cropper" mean? That's a new one for me.

    Thanks.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

To come a cropper means to make a mistake or to have something bad happen to you which makes you less successful than before (British informal idiom).
