in every hour or every hour?

    Hi All,

I'd like to know when we say or write the following sentence, should we put the preposition of "in"?

    1. The elevator will be cleaned in every hour.
    2. The elevator will be cleaned every hour.

Hi, I am not a teacher,
But when I read your both sentences I prefer the second one. One question, why do you want to put a preposition between cleaned and every?
    Cordially,

    Cordially,
I thought "in" was the preposition of every....Let me rearrange the sentence...

In every hour, the elevator will be cleaned. (Is it grammatically correct?)
