    to buckle

In an interview to TOI on Monday, Nitish said he is getting least cooperation from the UPA government at the Centre. "If the Centre helps us, Bihar will become a developed state very soon," he said. "But," he added, "the Centre wants Bihar to buckle and not progress."

Nitish said: "I am not accusing the Centre and using harsh words unnecessarily. But I am telling you the Centre is putting unwarranted obstacles in the path of development."
