    Cool Warsword

What's understood as a warsword or war sword?

Is it just a sword for combat without any decoration?

    Thanks

    Hi there,
I've been surfing the net for a while and, as I guessed from this article in Wikipedia, "war sword" means just a combat sword, as opposed to those (usually shorter and lighter) used for combat. No reference to their lack of decoration, though.

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_swords

    Hope it helps.

    Re: Warsword

Oops, sorry. The shorter and lighter ones were used by civilians, not in combat as I said in my previous post.

    Sorry again
