Smile How to use the word "Nothing" for comparison

Hi everyone! I am taking CAE next week and so Im doing some intense revision this week. In one of the "Key Word Transformation" exercises that I found in the mocks, it appeared the word Nothing to be used in this way:

The North Sea is much colder than the Mediterranean.
The Mediterranean _______________ the North Sea.

Would the answer be: The Mediterranean IS NOTHING AS COLD AS the North Sea ?

Any help would be highly valuable!
    Thanx!

    Sebastian:)

No, it wouldn't. The answer is "...not as cold as..." or "Nothing like as cold as".

In a different exercise (!) you could also say the Mediterranean's nowhere near as cold as the North Sea.
