    Grammatically incorrect?

    Is this sentence grammatically correct?

"It was not like hair had not been the subject in enough horror movies."

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Grammatically incorrect?

As Ronbee said, it is grammatically correct, but it's better with "as if" in place of "like".

It'd be also correct, wouldn't it?

But that ("like hair had not been the subject in enough horror movies") is not even a sentence.

    Thanks in advance!
Isn't that called Specified Subject Condition? you know, Lexical Insertion & PSR ?!
I mean, though it is grammatically correct, it does not ensure the subcategorization property.
