    Am i writting the sentences correctly?

    1) Customer pay for the coffee for the price of a tea.
    2) Customer can get a coffee for the price of a tea.
    3) Student took their time to do the homework, so they get better marks

    Most students spent their time doing their homework, so they could get better marks.
    I would have writ like above.
