He is eating by himself.
He is eating alone.
The first sentence sounds to me as if he is eating with his own hands, and not someone feeding him. And the second sentence sounds to me as if he is in a separate place where there is no one.
But I'm looking up for a word or sentence which means "to eat without sharing anyone". Please help me with this.
Sometimes here when any of my friends eat singly keeping themselves away from me to eat something, I would go up to him and say amusingly "You are eating yourself, please share with me also, and I also take some pieces myself".
I'm now looking for a better version for the same. Hope you got my point now. Thanks in advance.
Thanks. I'm still looking up for more versions.
Anyway, here what you mean by "and then some"
You gluttonous pig! You are one stealth eater and then some. Do not covet every bite for yourself. Think of others too.
I would strongly advise you not to take Kondorosi's advice. Why don't you say simply "Hey, lets share our food".
