    a / the lunchbreak

    Hi,

Which one of these sentences is more appropriate?

    1. Is everybody out on a lunchbreak?
    2. Is everybody out on the lunchbreak?

    Thanks,

    MG.

"The" is more appropriate, it implies that there is only one lunch-break. Lunch break is not a single word. Please use a hypen or two words
