    Grammatical Analysis Needed

Can you help me analyze this sentence: The man wants to be a teacher.
What is to be a teacher grammatically. This is not the predicate noun, is it? I am unclear what grammatical form it takes. Thank you.

Hello, I am not a teacher,

But I try to help you. Your sentence is '
The man wants to be a teacher'.

    I begin:
    The group
subject is 'The man', the verb is 'wants', 'to be a teacher' is a direct object. What wants the man: to be a teacher.
The predicate is what you attribute to the subject. Maybe it is more clear
    now .

    See you later.

The object of 'wants' is an infinitive clause. The understood covert subject of the infintive clause is 'the man'. 'a teacher' is a predicate nominative in the subordinate non-finite clause.
