What's=What is, can What's=What does, too?

Is What's also the abbreviation of What does?

    Thank you.

    Hello, I am a student,

But for me 'What's' is not the abbreviation of what does. I think 'what is' seems to me better, but I am not a teacher.

    I hope it helps you.

See you later on the forum.

No, there is no abbreviation for "what does". It can be the abbreviation for "what has", however.

    A test choice:
.---Hello, Mary ,I’ve got a friend.
    ---What’s she like?
    ---_____.
    A. Quite pretty B. she likes music
    C. She’s like her mother D. She is very well
    ---------------------------------------------------------

So, what does "What’s she like?" mean?

Asking if she is pretty or anything else?

    Thank you.

"What's (what is) she like", means, is she pretty, what sort of person is she, that sort of thing. So A; B; and C are all possible answers

If B is right, aren't you accepting that the sentence can mean "What does she like?"

I can't think of any convincing example for "What's" meaning "What does". But in speech, the following can occur:
What does that mean? -> What dəz that mean? -> Whadəz that mean?
