Send is the infinitive form, while sent is the past tense form.
    Examples:

Did you send Santa Claus a letter last year?
Yes, I did. Actually I sent him three letters!
And what did you ask him?
I asked him I wanted to learn verb tenses in English. This year I am going to send him a complaint letter.

    I send emails every day.

Niro Nakamura sent us a message from the future.
    Which message?
Save the cheerleader, save the world.
