    Unhappy HELP! HELP! Lost word!

    Dear Everyone,

    I used to know a noun which bears the following meaning:

    SOMEONE, who is strong and able enough so that you can rely on them, who protects you or your principles, a kind of base that is unshakable.

    I would be eternally grateful if someone found my word!

    1. TRUE BLUE - a term meaninig to be loyal and honest to the crew, ship, flag etc.

    2. THE VALIANT, as in a Shakespeare's saying: "Cowards die many times before their death; the valiant never taste of death but once."
