    Question WORD PROBLEM

What is the word called which a person uses in his speech/sentences so often that it finally becomes his identification? Is it a pet word?

His "signature word" perhaps, or his "catch phrase".

    Re: WORD PROBLEM

You mean a "pet name"? But it's just a nickname with endearment. Or you are trying to say "an epithet" such as "Richard the Lionheart" or "Charlie the Fat"?
