    Usage of between

Hello, I'm from Syria. in the toefl IBT course there is an important question.
And it's about the usage of between, here you are:
Ottawa is between Montreal and Toronto.
a- Toronto is closer to Ottawa than Montreal.
b- Montreal is closer to Ottawa than to Moronto.

I need your help quickly please. thank you very much.

    Re: Usage of between

What is your question about this?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: Usage of between

If your question is "Are the statements (A and B) true or false", then they are both true.
