    she's doing/she does

    a) What she's doing is so crazy, beacause her life is wild.
    b) What she does is so crazy, because her life is wild.

    which one is correct?

    with "What" I mean "everything"

Hello (I am not a teacher),

For me in the fist sentence, you use the present continuous tense, and I understand that the action of the girl or woman is happenning right now.

In the b phrase the verb is in the simple present form, maybe you are talking about her daily life.

The context can help me to give you what you're looking for, the right answer I believe.

    See you later.

    Re: she's doing/she does

I want to say that she is wild and what she does is crazy, all the time, whenever, on a regular base/

I think it should be "what she does is blablabla..."

The other thing I am not sure is the use of "what". In my language, Czech, it sounds naturally and is used quite often. However, not so sure about English. Is it common to say, e.g. "What she did was so tasteless" or "What we do is good for our health." or "What she does is so crazy" :) ?

    Thanks in advance/

    Re: she's doing/she does

    Hi again,

Do not forget I am not English. About the use of 'what' it does not make me a trouble, but if you use it a lot in the same sentence maybe the is going to be redundant.

I think the simple present tense is the good one for the regular habits of the wild girl. Oh! A wild woman perhaps doesn't make crazy things.

    See you soon.

If you are saying that the woman is a crazy person in general, then you already answered your own question - "I want to say that she is wild and what she does is crazy" - 'what she does', rather than 'what she is doing'.

Also, if you are saying she is crazy, and her life is wild then subordinating the clause isn't perhaps the right thing. Try:

"What she does is so crazy, and her life is wild."

    Or even:

"What she does is so crazy, and her life in general is wild."

When you use because, you're saying that she is crazy because her life is wild, whereas it seems you are wanting to say that she has a wild life, and she is crazy, and she makes herself be that way.

The use of 'what' is fine.
