    pronunciation question

    From 《THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION》:
    I come here in '05,and they made me librarian in 1912.

    I didnt hear it very clearly ,it sounds like o and five,and 1912 sounds like nineteen and twelve.
    I 'm not sure.

    You're right- I assume that the word 'and' is not part of the pronunciation- the first would be oh five and the second nineteen twelve.
