    Dont make noise

During school class room, our teachers used to say "Dont make noise" when we used to shout.

Is "Dont make noise" a proper phrase or is it incorrect?

Also, what is the more common phrase that can be used in this scenario.

    Re: Dont make noise

Hello, (I am not a teacher),

Your sentence is better like that: "Don't (do not) make noise". You can say: 'Stay quiet' or 'Silence, please'.

    Hope it helps you.

    See you later.
