    Post 'What are you like?'---What does it mean?

    Dear teachers,

    Is "what are you like?" asking about 'how you feel', or about 'what you look like' ? Or about something else? Can you please give me some possible replies? Thanks!

    The question asks about your personality/character.
    The answer could be: I am active, bright and imaginative.
    Of course it looks odd if this question is put to some one directly. Usually this is asked to someone to know about another person's personal traits; as: What is she like?
    It can be answered with negative traits (unlikely for someone to describe about oneself) as: 'She is Jealous and rude
