    Talking how to use "live"

This is my first question. Which is more natural for you,
I lived in NY last month.
I was living in NY last month.
    I lived in NY then.
I was living in NY then. ? Depends on the situation ? If so, please give me some example sentences. Thank you.

    Re: how to use "live"

Both forms can be used. I would use the progressive form to imply I continued living there before and after the time under discussion .
