    under

    Hello,
A while ago, I wanted to use under many times.
However, I thought it's not the same as in German.
I wanted to use it for things like:
I will see you under my car's wheels. (as a joke)
My post count is written under my avatar.
Today I was under water. (to dive)

Usually, the computer's place is under a table.

Then I thought under is not supposed to be used the way I did.
I guessed it is more for:
He works well when he is under pressure.
You are under a bad influence when you meet these guys.
I can't watch TV because I'm under stress.

I think you can see the difference between the first and the second under.

    The question:
Can under be used for all those sentences?
I tried to use words like below, beneath, underneath etc. because I thought under is wrong!

    Thanks for any help

    Cheers!

It is fine to use "under" to mean underneath something, "under the table", under the bed" etc.
