    Hello,
    At work, I got into trouble with the conversation below.
    Kindly explain to me which would be the correct response and what the other means

    "I want you to assist a client."

    1. which client?
    2. what client?

    my answer was 1.

    Yes. 1 is Ok but 2 is meaningless, better would be:Where is the client? or Who is the client?
