    I had a slight accident with your coffee.
    What does it imply? I spilt your coffee?

    ...may really imply he spilled it. The person may want to specify what it was.

    If someone were to say that to me regarding my coffee, it might be that they have put milk or sugar in it, and I like it black.

    Most likely it means that the coffee has been spilled, though.

    I am not a teacher.
