    New Year Holiday?

    Hello Everyone,

    I would like to know here if there are offical holidays in Italy? And what about that in UK and US?

    ***NOT A TEACHER***sky753, Yes. In the United States, there are many holidays that you could call "official." Some are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4 -- perhaps our most important holiday), Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
