Which one of these sentences are correct>

    Hello,

As the title says, which one of these sentences are correct?

How long do you think you can keep this up?

    or

How long do you think can you keep this up?

I am having a little difficulty determining which one of the two is grammatically correct.

    Thank you.

So, after reading that page you directed me to, it is my understanding that the first sentence is correct since it follows the statement order. Am I correct?

    Thank you.

Yes, the first one is correct.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

By inserting "do you think" in parenthesis, you have changed the sentence. The following are correct.
    1. How long do you think you can keep this up? or
    2. How long, do you think, can you keep this up? =
    3. How long can you keep this up, do you think?

You should be able to remove a parenthetical phrase and still have a proper sentence. If you remove "- do you think -" from your sentence, you have "How long you can keep this up?", which is wrong.
