find that I am VS consider me as

    Hi,

    Question:
    Which sentence is more polite?

    Sentence1:
I am confident that you will find that I am a good employee.
    Sentence2:
I am confident that you will consider me as a good employee.

    Thanks

They are both polite, but only the first is grammatically correct.

I would change them as follows:
I am confident that you will find me to be a good employee.
I am confident that you will (come to) consider me (to be) a good employee.

The words in parentheses are optional. Personally, I would use them.

I think the second could be grammatically correct, but with a different meaning. Assuming the person was already working there, and a new promotion came up, the employee could say this.

I am confident that you will consider me as a good employee.
(I am confident that, since I am a good employee, you will consider me for the promotion.)

    Hi,

    Question:
Do the the sentences in set 1 have the same meaning?
Do the the sentences in set 2 have the same meaning?

    Set1:
I am confident that you will find that I am a good employee.
I am confident that you will find me to be a good employee.

    Set2:
I am confident that you will consider me as a good employee
I am confident that you will come to consider me to be a good employee.
I am confident that you will consider me a good employee.

    Thanks

As I explained, the first sentence in Set 2 means a different thing and, as kfredson points out, is ungrammatical if you use it to mean what the other sentences mean.
All of the others mean roughly the same thing - they will find that you are a good employee.

    Set1:
I am confident that you will find that I am a good employee.
I am confident that you will find me to be a good employee.

    Set2:
I am confident that you will consider me as a good employee
I am confident that you will come to consider me to be a good employee.
I am confident that you will consider me a good employee.

    Thanks
    R.
