    Chinese learners of English

I am not a fully-trained teacher but am an instructor of English. I am about to teach some Chinese teenagers i.e. teach them English. I have never taught this nationality-group before. Is it possible there is anyone out there, who knows any of the linguistic difficulties that they might have with learning English, because of the differences between CHinese and English?
Thank you for your time and patience.

Where are they from and are they living in the UK now?
    What is their native dialect?
What is their present English level?
