    isn't a word; affiliate is the word you mean.

    It means 'bring together in close connection/association'. says that 'affiliate to' is British, whereas 'affiliate with' is American - however I hear 'affiliate with' more commonly.

    Pantech and Curitel are two telecommunication companies it would seem. Your sentence means that they have joined together. I don't know if they are now one company, or two companies working closely together.
