    adverbs

Can we use quick in the following sentence?
His class was not easy but the time always passed quickly because it was so interesting.

    What about this sentence?
Model A shifts as easily as Modle B.
Model C doesnot stop as quickly as Model A.
Can we use easy and quick?

What is the meaning of shift here? They are talking about differtent models of bicycle.
    Thanks
