    I want the correct meaning of this idom and circumtances it could be used.

    As for circumstances it is used in, it is commonly used when someone is requesting too many things from another person:

    John: Mary, can you take the rubbish out?
    Mary: Sure.
    John: and then come and give me a massage before you make dinner?
    Mary: Don't push your luck.
