    Drive safe

    Hello,
    Do Americans say:
    Drive safe.
    Instead of
    Drive safely.
    ?

In a game called "Need For Speed" a woman says this sentence in the intro.
(I forgot which part - maybe Carbon?)

In my opinion it has to be the 2nd, safely.

    Cheers!

Although 'safe' is used frequently, this is not correct grammar.
