    Which one seems to be a better sentence?

    1) Sorry to have missed your messages on the phone.
    2) Sorry for missing your messages on the phone.
    3) Sorry that i have missed your messages on the phone.

    1 and 2 are certainly correct grammatically, but in common usage we'd be more likely to simply say "Sorry I missed your phone messages."

    I don't agree that the second one is correct.
    If you say: "Sorry for missing your messages", doesn't that mean that you always miss the messages? It refers to the present.

    If you want to apologize to someone for having done something already, it should be this way:
    Sorry for having missed your messages.
