    paralysis through analysis

    Dear all,
I would like to know what *paralysis through analysis* means in the following sentence:

Overdosing on tennis can cause *paralysis through analysis* and she had been eating, drinking, sleeping and breathing the sport all year.

Context: a father tells why he was worried for his daughter.

    Thanks in advance.
    S
