    grammar

I wonder if "picking and falling" is "present particle" or anything.

What's the big idea, picking on my little sister?
What a fool she was, falling for him all over again.

I answer the second and leave the first for others.

After the comma we have a sentential adjunct, which is subject-related (she). It describes 'she' --> adjective, participle
